General FAQ
How many treats should I feed my dog per day?
Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories. For example, a medium dog (15–20kg) can usually enjoy 2–3 small treats or one chew daily, alongside regular meals.
Are bully sticks safe for my dog?
Yes. Bully sticks do not fragment and are fully digestible and safer than rawhide. Always supervise chewing and remove small pieces to prevent swallowing hazards.
What are the best treats for my dog's specific needs?
- Training: The best training treats are small, soft, and highly palatable so your dog can eat them quickly without losing focus. Low-calorie options are best for frequent rewards.
- Dental Health: Look for dental chews which have both hard and soft components, like fleshy bones. These are scientifically proven to help reduce plaque and tartar buildup.
- Sensitive Stomachs or Allergies: Opt for traditionally hypoallergenic proteins made with novel proteins like kangaroo, lamb or fish and be cautious of common allergens like chicken or beef.
- Joint Support: Treats containing natural forms of glucosamine and chondroitin are popular choices for senior dogs or large breeds prone to joint issues.
What treats are safe for puppies?
Puppies under 6 months should stick to softer treats like lamb lung cubes or chicken jerky. Once teething, they can safely chew size-appropriate bully sticks under supervision.
Do natural dog treats help with joint health?
Yes. Chews like ears, tendons, and cartilage are natural sources of collagen, which supports joint, skin, and coat health, especially in older dogs.
What are the best long-lasting chews for strong chewers?
for power chewers, we recommend our Tough Bully Sticks, Cow Hoof or Goat Horns. They’re durable, natural and provide mental stimulation for hours.

What’s the difference between Bully Sticks and Rawhide?
Rawhide can be a good source of natural collagen, however it can be indigestible and can cause blockages if swallowed in too-large of pieces. Bully sticks are 100% digestible, high in collagen and protein, and much safer for your dog’s gut health.
How do I store natural dog treats?
All of our treats should be stored in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, you can refrigerate or freeze them to keep freshness. All of our treats have a 12 shelf life from date of purchase.

Nutritional FAQ
How many treats should I give my dog each day?
The general rule of thumb is that treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog's daily caloric intake. The other 90% should come from a complete and balanced diet. The exact number of treats depends on their size and calorie content, as well as your dog's size, age, and activity level. Remember to adjust your dog's main meals accordingly to prevent weight gain.
Are Bully Sticks high in protein?
Yes. Our Bully sticks are a single-ingredient chew made from 100% beef and are naturally high protein, low fat chew.
Can dog treats upset my dog's tummy?
You should always be cautious with anything you feed your dog for the first time. Anything you feed to your dog has the possible to upset their tummies - particularly rich or fatty chews.
If you’re planning to buy treats for the first time, we recommend our 6 Protein Trial Pack.
